What you can and can’t do
What you can and can’t do with MirageTEL
MirageTEL is for people who want to stay connected privately. A few things put everyone at risk — networks, other customers and you — so they are not allowed.
Plain wordsThe same rules for everyone
Numbers, calls and texts
Do
- Call and text from your own number, for work or for yourself.
- Keep your details true where a country asks who holds a number.
- Honour do-not-call lists, and stop when someone asks you to.
- If we ask who placed a call through your account or phone system, answer within 24 hours.
Don’t
- No spam, robocalls, autodialers or mass texting.
- No telemarketing without the person’s consent.
- No fraud, threats, harassment or artificial traffic.
- No showing a number that isn’t yours — calls go out with your own MirageTEL number.
- No calls or texts to places on our sanctions list (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Crimea and the occupied parts of Donetsk and Luhansk) — they are refused.
Data
Do
- Use your plan on your own phone, wherever it covers.
- Read the plan’s page — some plans slow down after a fair-use amount.
Don’t
- Don’t resell plans or numbers without a written agreement with us.
- Don’t use the service to attack networks or intercept anyone’s traffic.
When a rule is broken
Calls, texts and new numbers are paused on the account. Write to support@miragetel.com if you think we got it wrong.
