Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026 · version 2026-09-28
MirageTEL is operated by Mirage Global Technologies LLC, a United States company. This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everything you do with MirageTEL — eSIM data, phone numbers, calls, texts and SIP trunks — and to anyone who uses the service through your account or your phone system.
- Lawful use. Use MirageTEL only for lawful purposes, in line with the laws of the countries you call, text or connect from and the rules of the networks that carry your traffic.
- No unsolicited calls or texts. Do not place calls or send texts to people who have not agreed to receive them. Where a do-not-call or do-not-text register applies, you must check it and honour it, and you must stop contacting anyone who asks you to.
- No robocalls or autodialers. Do not use MirageTEL for automated or prerecorded calls, predictive or automatic dialers, or bulk texting, unless every recipient gave the consent the law of their country requires and you keep a record of it.
- No telemarketing without consent. Sales and marketing calls and texts are allowed only with the recipient's prior consent, during the hours the law permits, with your identity stated and a way to opt out.
- No false caller identity. Show only a number that is yours on MirageTEL. Do not alter, hide or impersonate a caller ID or a sender name to mislead the person you call or text. Our system places only your own numbers as the caller ID.
- No fraud or artificial traffic. Do not generate calls or texts to inflate traffic or revenue — traffic pumping, international revenue share fraud, "wangiri" missed-call schemes, SIM-box or bypass use — and do not use the service for phishing, scams, harassment, threats or extortion.
- No callback or calling-card services without our approval. Callback applications, calling cards and services that let third parties place calls through your account need our written approval first. Do not use the service to avoid the surcharges that apply to international calls between European Union countries.
- No resale without an agreement. Reselling MirageTEL services, or giving other businesses access to your numbers or trunks, needs a written agreement with us.
- Sanctions. MirageTEL may not be used by people or organisations named on United States, European Union, United Kingdom or United Nations sanctions lists, or by anyone located in a country or region under comprehensive United States sanctions. Requests from those places, and calls and texts to them, are refused; our own sanctions list may add further destinations, which the price list shows as not available. Do not use a VPN, a relay or another person's account to get around this.
- Your phone system is your responsibility. Keep the credentials of your account, your devices and any phone system you connect secure. Calls and texts made through your account or trunk are charged to your wallet, including traffic from a system that was compromised.
- Networks and fair use. Do not attack, overload or probe our network or anyone else's. Plans labelled unlimited may still carry the network's fair-use or speed rules; open the exact plan before you buy.
- Tracing a call. Telephone companies, regulators and law enforcement ask who placed a call when they investigate illegal or fraudulent calls. We answer those requests from our records, and you must answer ours — who placed a call through your account or trunk, and with what consent — within 24 hours.
- What we do when the policy is broken. We may refuse a call or text, pause calls, texts and new numbers on the account, disconnect a trunk or close the account, and we may report unlawful use to the networks involved and to the authorities. We keep the records of calls and texts, and of what we did, as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Reporting abuse. To report a call or text that came through MirageTEL, write to support@miragetel.comwith the number, the date and the time.
