Which numbers receive texts
Not every country’s numbers can receive texts. On the Numbers page, the filter Calls & texts shows the countries whose numbers do. A text you receive is paid from the texts in of a calling pack of that country, or 1¢ from your wallet — and it always arrives, even with an empty wallet.
Where you read them
Texts arrive in Account → Messages and in the app. Verification codes get a Copy button.
On the phone, a new text also shows as a notification with buttons, so you don’t have to open the app: Copy code on a verification code, Mark as read, and Reply where your number can answer that sender. The reply’s price, or “in your pack”, is on the notification before you send.
The words of a text are removed after 90 days; the record that it was sent or received stays.
