SIP trunk questions
How does a PBX connect?
With a SIP host, a port and a username and password per trunk, over UDP or TCP. Any SIP-compliant system works: 3CX, FreePBX, Asterisk and others.
Which caller ID can I send?
Only numbers that belong to your account. A call with any other caller ID is refused.
How are calls billed?
Per destination, from your prepaid balance. Most destinations are billed per minute; the rate card in your panel shows the price and the billing interval of every one.
How do I protect against fraud?
Every trunk has a channel limit and a daily spending limit, and calls stop at those limits. You can also limit a trunk to the destinations you actually sell.
Are all destinations open?
A few destinations open only once the regulator’s approval is in place; they are not listed here until then.
