Prepare the phone

Update the operating system before travel when practical, label the travel line clearly and understand which SIM will carry mobile data. Download essential maps, reservation details and addresses for offline use.

On arrival

Turn on the travel eSIM, choose it for mobile data, and apply the plan roaming or APN instructions. Allow time for network registration. If connection fails, work through the checklist without deleting the profile.
